For 29 years, INQUIRER.net has remained committed to delivering credible journalism that keeps Filipinos informed and engaged with the stories that matter.

As the way people consume news continues to evolve, so do we. Across print, digital platforms and video, we continue to expand how we reach and serve our audiences while upholding the standards of journalism that have earned their trust. At the heart of this effort is INQUIRER.net, the country’s leading Filipino news website, connecting millions of readers to reliable news and information wherever they may be.

On this anniversary, we honor the dedication of our journalists, editors and staff who work every day to bring important stories to light. We also thank our readers, whose continued trust inspires us to do better and strengthens our commitment to journalism that serves the public, speaks truth to power and gives voice to stories that need to be heard. We thank our advertisers whose partnership serve as an important engine of our growth and whose confidence in the INQUIRER brand gives us more reasons to keep innovating and creating integrated offerings aligned with business needs.

As we look ahead, we know that journalism will continue to change. New technologies, platforms and ways of telling stories will emerge. We will embrace these changes while remaining anchored in the values that have guided us from the beginning: credibility, integrity and service to the Filipino people.

Happy 29th anniversary, INQUIRER.net. May we continue to evolve, innovate and grow without losing sight of what matters most: journalism that people can trust today and for generations to come.

To Our Readers, Advertisers, Partners and Inquirer Team,

As we celebrate our 29th anniversary, we mark nearly three decades of pioneering digital journalism in the Philippines. Securing our position as the country’s No. 1 news website on Similarweb is both an honor and a serious responsibility. Leadership is not given; it is earned daily through the trust of our readers.

From launching the nation’s first broadsheet website on October 27, 1997, to serving an audience of 32 million users across platforms, our mission has remained unchanged: to be the top-of-mind destination for credible news and information and engaging stories.

Being a daily habit requires more than constant availability across devices. It demands depth, authority, and uncompromising credibility.

Our July 1, 2025 integration of print and digital operations was a decisive strategic move. By unifying our organization into one high-performing team, we deliver a seamless, multimedia experience—whether through real-time breaking alerts, video, podcasts, newsletter curation, or deep analytical reporting.

Media is undergoing unprecedented change, driven by AI, algorithmic shifts, and misinformation. While we actively harness AI to enhance operational efficiency, our core journalism remains strictly human-led. Rigorous reporting, thoughtful editing, and human empathy are what build true credibility—and credibility is what forms a lasting habit.

To our readers, advertisers, partners and stakeholders, thank you for making the Inquirer an essential part of your day.

To the Inquirer team: fifteen months into our integration, your commitment has transformed a bold vision into measurable progress. We have accomplished a great deal, but our greatest milestones lie ahead. For twenty nine years, we have set the standard for Philippine journalism. Let us carry that standard forward with energy, agility, and purpose.

Happy 29th Anniversary!

As Inquirer.net marks its 29th anniversary, we reflect with gratitude upon our journey and, more importantly, upon the responsibility that comes with serving the public. We honor the journalists whose dedication, courage and integrity give that service its meaning.

In an age of relentless information, distraction and misinformation, their commitment to truth and accuracy has never been more vital. Through their work, they help our readers understand the world, distinguish fact from falsehood, and navigate the events that shape our lives.

May we continue to uphold the highest traditions of journalism, and may the men and women who tell our stories remain steadfast in their pursuit of truth.

Happy 29th year! May we look to the years ahead with renewed purpose, enduring trust and pride in the journalists who serve our readers and our nation.
